Armor's first pumper was a 1922 American LaFrance purchased from the Hamburg Fire Department. The funds to purchase this pumper were raised through rummage sales & carnivals.

In February of 1955, the Armor Fire Company added a Rescue to their services. It was a used 1950 Ford Step in & Drive Model Van purchased for $500.00.

Armor's first aid squad was formed in January 1967. The crew was called "Armor Squad 4" and the ambulance was Armor 4. The first ambulance purchased was a used 1962 Cadillac.
